It’s been ages since I last did a favourites post, and by ages, I mean probably a few years ago. I thought I’d compile a list of the things I enjoyed from both January & February, because let’s be honest, I can’t believe we’re almost 1/4 way into the year. I can’t be the only one who thinks January went by way too fast! Before we know it, it will be 2019 already (hopefully not!). Without further ado, these are my January/February favourites:
I’m going to be honest, I’m not a massive perfume. It’s so hard to find a perfume that won’t block my nasal passages, but I got to try out Clive Christian perfumes at Harrods and it exceeded my expectations. Despite being high end, the quality of the perfume is amazing and they all smell incredible! They also make a great Luxury Mother’s Day Gift, in case anyone was wondering what they could gift their amazing mothers next month.
I’ve been on the hunt for a good moisturiser/primer for a while now and I think I may have found one! This YSL one makes my skin feel great, and I use it to prep my skin before wearing make up or just generally moisturise my skin. Though the packaging is small, it lasts a long time because you don’t need much product anyways.
I already have a massive collection of coats in my flat, and I have zero space to buy any more, but can you blame me?! How beautiful is this fur coat from Mango. From the moment I first spotted it, I knew I had to buy it. I almost didn’t buy it because it was too expensive, but I kept thinking about it and thought, ‘treat yo’ self’ – which is a dangerous thought process. I have no regrets.
This one’s pretty random, but I’ve been obsessed with making french toast recently. Especially since I realised I could make it in my waffle iron, what a game changer it was! Breakfast for dinner, am I right? This is the recipe I usually go for, and I even switch up normal milk for almond milk instead. My favourite toppings are honey, chocolate chips and of course, peanut butter.
Technically, I have a love/hate relationship with this show. The drama manages to intensify each episode and I either want to break my laptop or scream with frustration because the tension is killing me. There was a tweet that accurately described my feelings about it, and it went along the lines of “the writing is so bad but the drama is so good.”
As you may have seen in my previous post, I recently visited Lisbon for a few days and was amazed by the city! The city is surrounded by pretty tiles, cute streets and amazing pastel de natas (custard egg tarts). It’s also very cheap to travel to, so if you’re looking to travel somewhere on a budget, Lisbon is a great place for it!
Can I just saw WOW. What an amazing movie. Without mentioning any spoilers, if you haven’t watched it yet, please do because it’s incredible. And if you want to discuss the movie feel free to in the comments.
What are your February favourites?
